The Dark Iron Army[2] is an army of Dark Irons based in the Blackrock Depths.
They are massive in numbers, outnumbering the Kargath Expeditionary Force, and defeating their 109th Division.[3]
These Dark Irons were further empowered by the blessing of Ragnaros's minions.[3] The rations for most of the Dark Iron army are kept in the East and West Garrison of the Depths.[4] Following the Cataclysm, they joined the Twilight's Hammer cult.[5]
