Dark Pact is a warlock class talent. It is useful for survival, dealing 25% of your demon's or your own HP to give you a shield their maximum HP assuming that there is a half to be sacrificed. It is the possible replacement of the voidwalker's Sacrifice.
Trivia[]
- During the MoP beta, it had the flavor text "Let someone else pay the price of your recklessness." by Zelifrax Wobblepox. It becomes available to warlocks who complete the green fire quest chain.
- Sacrificial Pact is a basic Warlock spell in Hearthstone. The flavor text reads: "This is the reason that Demons never really become friends with Warlocks."
- Dark Pact is a common Warlock spell in the Kobolds & Catacombs expansion for Hearthstone. The flavor text reads ""Don't worry about the fine print. Just sign here."
Patch changes[]
Patch 10.0.2 (2022-11-15): No longer increased by 20% in PvP combat. - Hotfix (2022-11-11):
- Now shields you for 200% of health sacrificed (was 250%).
- Additional shield amount has been reduced by 50%.
- Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 6 class talent (was a level 30 talent).
- Hotfix (2022-06-24): Now provides an absorb shield based on 300% of health sacrificed in PvP combat (was 250%).
- Patch 9.1.0 (2021-06-29): Dark Pact's additional absorb shield has been increased by 316%.
- Hotfix (2021-03-31): The absorption value of Dark Pact will now match the tooltip.
- Patch 9.0.2 (2020-11-17): Spell power bonus has been increased to 120% (was 40%).
