Dark Rune Watchers are adds for the Ulduar boss Razorscale that spawn during the opening phases of the fight.
Attacks and abilities[]
Heroic mode[]
- Melee Swing – 10,000 physical.
- Lightning Bolt – single target nature damage, deals 8,000-12,000.
- Chain Lightning – deals damage to 5 targets, each successive hit increases damage. Deals about 11,000 nature damage. Interrupt-able.
Normal mode[]
- Melee Swing – ?? physical damage.
- Lightning Bolt – single target nature damage, deals ??.
- Chain Lightning – deals damage to up to 5 targets, each successive hit increases damage. Deals about ?? nature damage. Interrupt-able.
Strategies[]
This add should be tanked by an off tank at all times. Of the three types of adds that spawn during the Razorscale encounter, this add is the second priority for the dps, after any sentinels have been killed.
Patch changes[]
Hotfix (2009-04-15): The Dark Rune Watchers will no longer cast chain lightning while moving.
