- Darnassus Gift Collection
- Duration: 10,080 min (real time)
- Use: Combines a Darnassus Gift Collection, Ironforge Gift Collection and Stormwind Gift Collection into an Alliance Gift Collection.
An Darnassus Gift Collection is a collection of the three Darnassus pledge item packages, and is the second hierarchical combining of the pledge items given out by various Darnassus NPCs during the Love is in the Air seasonal event.
The Darnassus Gift Collection is created by combining the following together:
Fifteen individual pledge items, five each of three kinds, make up this collection. Acquiring these will require two or three stacks of.
Creating this item grants the character a +30 Agility buff for 60 minutes. The buff persists if the Gift Collection item is consumed as an ingredient. The Gift Collection buffs do not stack, and any new buff from creating a city Gift Collection will overwrite an existing one.
A Darnassus Gift Collection is one of three Alliance city Gift Collections which are ingredients of the .
This is a conjured item. It cannot be sold at the Auction House, mailed nor put in a guild bank tab, but it can be given, sold, or traded with other player characters using the trade window. Unfortunately, that means you cannot pass these directly to an alt on the same account.
This item is primarily useful during Love is in the Air and the seven day duration of the item is longer than the event, so is not a handicap. It does prevent you from saving these for the following year.
The item can be created from the ingredient items after the event is over. By combining each hierarchical layer of gifts and pledges near its expiration, it should be possible to extend the overall duration to around 21 days for the city gift collections; so anywhere within that timeframe, a city gift could be created. It is unknown whether or not the buff will proc based on the item creation or if a separate check requires the event to be in progress, but the response time for the buff to proc during the event suggests that no separate check is used.
There is a plethora of individual items that are combined in this seasonal event to form successively larger collections. For details, see the main Love is in the Air article.
