Darnell is a Forsaken warrior that helps Forsaken players during a few quests in Deathknell in Tirisfal Glades.

After defeating the Rotbrains Darnell is made into a Deathguard and stationed at Deathknell.

During the assault on the Firelands, Deathguard Darnell can be found in Mount Hyjal. He assists the player in fighting elites in the daily quest, [35 Daily] The Protectors of Hyjal.

Charge — Charges an enemy, inflicting normal damage plus a bonus.
Shield Bash — Bashes an enemy with the caster's shield, inflicting 10% weapon damage and interrupting the spell being cast.
Shield Slam — Inflicts damage to an enemy, stunning it for 2 sec.
Sunder Armor — Hacks at an enemy's armor, reducing it per application of Sunder Armor. Can be applied up to 5 times. Lasts 20 sec.

Darnell is one of the characters that will assist new players in their racial starting zones, along with Zuni.
There's an unused ID of him in Warlords of Draenor. Datamining also showed Darnell was originally planned to appear in Battle for Azeroth.^[1]
