The Darrowmere River is a river that runs from Darrowmere Lake in the Plaguelands, through the Alterac Mountains down to Hillsbrad Foothills and empties into Baradin Bay.[1] Snapjaw turtles populate almost the entire length of the stream.
Following the Battle for Lordaeron, the Alliance established dams along the river to prevent Horde movement,[1] and had it patrolled by Wildhammer gryphon riders.[2]
Notes[]
- Though the river physically exists in-game, it is not a subzone of either of the zones it crosses and was not given a name until Battle for Azeroth.

During the Second War, several naval battles occurred at Darrowmere Lake. The ships would've had to come through this river to get there, despite the fact that there are a few waterfalls along the way. Additionally, Turalyon and Alleria Windrunner once led their forces aboard ships from Stromgarde Keep to Stratholme.[3] Although not named in the book, the only river in the proximity of it is the Darrowmere River.
