Patch changes[]

  • Dragonflight Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Removed.
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Level reduced from 90 to 45. Deadly Calm has been redesigned – Reduces the Rage cost of your next 4 abilities by 100%. Passive: Your maximum Rage is increased by 30.
    Old: Reduces the Rage cost of your abilities by 100% for 6 seconds.
  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Redesigned. Now an active ability that reduces the Rage cost of all abilities by 100% for 6 seconds.
    Old: Battle Cry also reduces the Rage cost of your abilities by 75% for the duration.
  • Legion Patch 7.2.5 (2017-06-13): Deadly Calm now reduces Rage costs during Battle Cry by 75% (was 100%).
  • Legion Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Re-added and redesigned to an Arms talent. Now causes Battle Cry to also reduce the Rage cost of all abilities by 100%.
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.2.0 (2013-03-05): Removed.
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Now available for all specializations and redesigned. You enter a battle trance, reducing the cost of your next 3 Heroic Strike or Cleave attacks by 10 Rage. No longer mutually exclusive with Ability criticalstrike [Recklessness].
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.2.0 (2011-06-28): Recklessness and Deadly Calm can no longer be used at the same time. One cannot be used while the other is active, but using one does not put the other on its full cooldown.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Added.
