Deathchill Level 20 Frost death knight PvP talent Passive Your Remorseless Winter and Chains of Ice apply Deathchill, rooting the target in place for 4 sec. Remorseless Winter All targets within 8 yards are afflicted with Deathchill when Remorseless Winter is cast. Chains of Ice When you Chains of Ice a target already afflicted by your Chains of Ice they will be afflicted by Deathchill.

Deathchill is a Frost death knight PvP talent, available at level 20.

Patch changes

• Patch 9.1.0 (2021-06-29): Now afflicts enemies within 8 yards when [Remorseless Winter] is cast (was 5 yards).
  
• Patch 8.1.0 (2018-12-11): Redesigned.

  Previous effect: Your Death Grip automatically applies Chains of Ice free of cost, and when you Chains of Ice a target already afflicted by your Chains of Ice you Freeze them, rooting them in place for 4 sec.
  

• Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now a PvP talent (was a rank 8 honor talent).
  
• Patch 7.1.0 (2016-10-25): Redesigned.

  Previous effect: Chains of Ice now freezes the target, rooting them in place for 4 sec, but now has a 5 sec cooldown.
