- Not to be confused with Half-human.
Demi-human is a term used to describe some humanoid races, including dwarves,[1] high elves,[1][2] and orcs.[3]
Uther the Lightbringer spent the years between the Second and Third War defending Lordaeron from demi-human uprisings.[4][5] Based on the context, this is presumably in reference to orcs and forest trolls.
The Defias Brotherhood is mentioned in one source as having "demi-human minions".[6] Based on the context, this would be in reference to their non-human allies like goblins, gnolls, and ogres.
Trivia[]
- As with many other aspects of the Warcraft setting, the term "demihuman" originates from Dungeons & Dragons.
