Deucus Valdera is a Forsaken alchemy trainer located at the Agronomical Apothecary in Dalaran. He is seen working on the alchemy station that he spent years assembling the components of. He and Patricia Egan research new alchemy recipes together.[1]

Professor Pallin owed him a favor.[2] He once called Tryks Pourtrue a cheater, Emmara Marie and Myshalla Streambreeze are his old friends, Jana Winterhoof describes him as a blustery fellow, but honorable, and he has worked with Krimple Proxmeasure, sending him the most challenging calibration puzzles to solve.[3]

During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, he got hold of a vrykul tome containing new recipes. As he was about to try one, the angered ghost of Svena the Infused appeared in his shop and briefly strangulated Deucus and the adventurer alchemist. Archmage Khadgar sensed her presence and quickly disposed of the ghost, but not before she managed to destroy Deucus' alchemy table.[4] Afterward, Deucus and the adventurer worked together on obtaining new implements for the table from around the world.
