Diseased Young Wolves were wolves found in Elwynn Forest, just outside the gate to Northshire Valley. They often traveled alongside a Mangy Wolf. These Diseased Young Wolf/Mangy Wolf pairs were linked; if one was attacked, the other would aggro as well, no matter the distance between them.
Before the Cataclysm, they also dwelled in Northshire Valley proper. Eagan Peltskinner had put a bounty on the Diseased Young Wolves and Diseased Timber Wolves in Northshire, asking adventurers to put them out of their misery and bring him their pelts as proof.
