Dog is a level 90 NPC you earn for your Sunsong Ranch farm after you've completed the quest 
[15-35] Lost and Lonely.
Dog will sit next to Farmer Yoon most of the time, and periodically (once every few minutes) walks around the farm, such as around the little pond in the garden, or up to Andi and back.
If found and adopted at Sunsong Ranch, it can also be found in Frostwall and Lunarfall.
If presented with a 
[Pebble] in your Garrison, it will also appear in the Magical Menagerie in Dalaran in the Broken Isles.
