The Domination Blade is a dagger adorned with Domination runes, delivered from Oribos to Maldraxxus by Cartel Ba[1][2] to be used in Kel'Thuzad's ritual to breach the Maw.[3] After Maw Walkers ambush the Ba caravan[1] and obtain the dagger,[2] they deliver it to Kel'Thuzad along other ritual reagents sabotaged by Balmedar.[3] During the ritual, Kel'Thuzad tries to use the blade to sacrifice Bearer Thedrin, whose blood will "open the way", but the sabotaged reagents cause the ritual to fail.[4]
