Objectives[]

Defeat Razio Crushcog. Speak to High Tinker Mekkatorque at Iceflow Lake when you are ready to begin the battle.

Description[]

Our cousins, the dwarves of Ironforge, have agreed to help us in the battle against Razlo Crushcog. Mountaineer Stonegrind is a veteran who knows Dun Morogh well. He and High Tinker Mekkatorque stand ready on a small snow-covered island in Iceflow Lake to the north. Meet up with them there and let the high tinker know when you are ready to face the traitor Crushcog.

Take this orbital targeting device and use it during the battle. It will help guide the high tinker's special weapons.

We're finally free of Razlo Crushcog and his interference! With the defeat of Crushcog and his forces, Thermaplugg can't afford to send any more of the followers to the surface. I can't wait for the day when we defeat him for good!

Notes[]

Head northeast across the lake to the first snow island, where at [40.6, 42.0] Mekkatorque and Stonegrind await. Across the strait on the bigger island are Crushcog and a cadre of technicians. Speak to Mekkatorque to start the event.

Crushcog's defeat will send a powerful message to his master, Thermaplugg. The gnomes of Gnomeregan will not be stopped!
Gossip I'm ready to start the assault.
High Tinker Mekkatorque says: Mekgineer Thermaplugg refuses to acknowledge that his defeat is imminent! He has sent Razlo Crushcog to prevent us from rebuilding our beloved Gnomeregan!
High Tinker Mekkatorque says: But <name> has thwarted his plans at every turn, and the dwarves of Ironforge stand with us!
High Tinker Mekkatorque says: Let's send him crawling back to his master in defeat!
Mountaineer Stonegrind says: Aye, let's teach this addle-brained gnome a lesson!
The party runs across to Crushcog's island.
Razlo Crushcog says: You! How did you escape detection by my sentry-bots?
Razlo Crushcog says: No matter! My guardians and I will make short work of you. To arms, men!
The four technicians surrounding Crushcog jump into waiting battle suits.
Razlo Crushcog says: You will never defeat the true sons of Gnomeregan!

Combat is joined. Mekkatorque and Stonegrind will take out the guardians before focusing on Crushcog. Use the Orbital Targeting Device to have Mekkatorque use his "Mekkatorque-Cannon" to do some damage to the targeted area. Upon Crushcog's death:

High Tinker Mekkatorque says: We've done it! We're victorious!
Mountaineer Stonegrind says: That'll teach you to mess with the might of Ironforge and Gnomeregan!
High Tinker Mekkatorque says: With Crushcog defeated, Thermaplugg is sure to be quaking in his mechano-tank, and rightly so. You're next Thermaplugg. You're next!

Return to Jarvi in Brewnall to turn in. On completion, Mekkatorque temporarily appears in the village:

Jarvi Shadowstep yells: <Name>, along with High Tinker Mekkatorque and Mountaineer Stonegrind, has defeated Razlo Crushcog!
High Tinker Mekkatorque says: Razlo Crushcog is no more! The people of Ironforge and Gnomeregan speak with one voice this day. Hear us well, Thermaplugg. The day of your defeat approaches!
Gnomeregan Infantry says: Victory at last!
Gnomeregan Infantry says: Three cheers for <name>!
Jarvi Shadowstep says: The victorious heroes have returned! Control of Chill Breeze Valley is ours once again!
Dun Morogh Mountaineer says: I'll drink to that!
