Draenei Younglings are draenei located on Azuremyst Isle.
They spawn in one of four spawn areas, and wander around. They appear to be doing quests in the area, referencing quests like:
- [1-30] The Great Moongraze Hunt - Draenei Youngling says: These stags look nothing like talbuks.
- [1-30] Nightstalker Clean Up, Isle 2... - Draenei Youngling says: I'm supposed to be hunting infected nightstalkers... This should be easy.
- [1-30] An Alternative Alternative - Draenei Youngling says: Hrm, azure snapdragons? Where do they come up with these names? Daedal has gone mad!
- [1-30] Medicinal Purpose - Draenei Youngling says: Where in the nether are these damnable lashers??
They also say:
- Draenei Youngling says: I wonder what that little purple creature at the village is... It's certainly beautiful.., making reference to the Injured Night Elf Priestess at Azure Watch.
The Draenei Youngling will give you the quest [1-30] A Hearty Thanks! if you help them during a fight with a hostile NPC. If you do not want to rely on RNG patrol paths of the hostile NPCs and the Draenei Youngling itself, you can drag the closest hostile NPC to the Draenei Youngling, without damaging it in any way. The Draenei Youngling will proceed to do damage to the mob, drawing the aggro from you. Just sit back and wait for the Draenei Youngling to call for your aid:
- Draenei Youngling says: Help! I think this creature might be too tough for me to handle alone.
Use [Gift of the Naaru] on them at this point, they'll say the following:
- Draenei Youngling says: Thanks for the heal, <name>!
Help them finish off the hostile NPC. After that the Draenei Youngling will give you the quest [1-30] A Hearty Thanks! Make sure to pick it up fast, because the Draenei Youngling will despawn after around a minute.
