Draenor is a world in the Warcraft film universe. It is the planet of the orcs.
It is a blasted, barren realm, where timber watchtowers dot the desert steppes.[1]
History[]
The Frostwolf clan was faced with increasingly harsh winters and thinning herds. Gul'dan parlayed with them, offering word of new hunting lands. They refused until the threat of the Red Walker clan intensified. Making the hard decision to abandon their territory, pride, and traditions of his people, Durotan led his people south to join the Horde.[2]
Draenor, the homeworld of orcs, was dying because of the fel. Gul'dan created a magical portal to lead the orcish Horde to a new world, using draenei prisoners as fuel for the gate's opening. A large war party of orc warriors passed through, with the intention of capturing humans to use as fuel to bring through the rest of the Horde.
