Dragon's Breath is a mage class talent.

Tips and tactics[]

  • The disorient effect makes this spell not only useful to kite an opponent, but also to interrupt spell casting. Although there is no spell lockout as with Spell frost iceshock [Counterspell], stopping a spell for 4 seconds is sometimes all you need.
  • Despite the tooltip, damage over time effects will not break the disorient effect. However, certain DoTs also deal direct damage (e.g. Spell shaman firenova [Conflagration]'s flare up), which will break the disorient effect.

  • This talent was mentioned in the April Fools' Day Legion alpha patch note preview: "Dragon's Breath is actually not as bad as you'd think. Smells like cinnamon, really."..
  • Dragon's Breath is...
    • A rare mage talent in the TCG. Its flavor text reads: "Seared to imperfection."
    • A common mage spell in Hearthstone. Its flavor text reads: "Dragons breathe fire, sure, but did you know they can also breathe Cotton Candy? It's harder to give them a reason to do that, though."
