The Dragon Roost is a neutral building used in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne where dragons can be bought as mercenary units.

Dragons come in three sizes: whelp, drake and dragon, all of them flying units. There were originally five different colors of dragons, one for each of the main dragonflights, but The Frozen Throne added a sixth one for the nether dragons. The colors of the dragons varies depending on the tileset of the map,^[1]^[2]. The nether dragon roost uses the black dragon model.

Blue dragons have a Freezing Breath ability which slows unit for 10 seconds, Bronze dragons have a Lightning Attack, and Nether dragons possess [Cripple]. Otherwise, the different colors of dragons are the same and their stats are identical.
