Drake's Shadowflame Crest is used to upgrade Veteran/Champion Dragonflight Season 2 items from item levels 415–424. For more information, see the 
[Flightstones] article. Crests are also used as a reagent to make an Enchanted Drake's Shadowflame Crest, which will force crafted items to be in the item level 411–424 range.
Obtain a crest by combining 15x 
[Drake's Shadowflame Crest Fragment], which drops from normal Aberrus raid bosses and the end-of-run chest in a Mythic+ key in the 6–10 range. Additionally, open-world rare elite creatures, weekly quests, and Fyrakk Assaults will also drop fragments. Beyond that, Vaskarn in Loamm can downgrade a [Wyrm's Shadowflame Crest] down to a Drake's crest for crafting purposes. Finally, Evantkis in front of the Great Vault of Valdrakken, will trade one 
[Aspects' Token of Merit] per crest.
