Draw out and defeat the Withering Presence in Detrithos.

• Wither Blade placed (Optional)
• Withering Presence slain
• Speak with Baine Bloodhoof in Detrithos.

Description

Now that we have the dagger, it will take the combined will of all of us to sever the weapon's link to the High Chieftain.

Jaina, Anduin, and I must do our part to keep Baine's spirit grounded, so it will be up to you to deal with whatever force is unleashed when the blade is broken.

Withering Presence

Interact with the Place Blade object in front of Baine, and a Withering Presence will spawn. Defeat it!

Thrall says: When I break the blade, be prepared for whatever comes.

Anduin Wrynn says: This curse is tearing his soul apart!

Anduin Wrynn says: You must defeat it, quickly!
