Drygulch Ravine is a location in Durotar. Apart from falling down into the ravine from above, the only entrance is from Razorwind Canyon, through a small cave at [52.3, 27.3].
History[]
Three years after the Third War ended, thunder lizards escaped from Thunder Ridge and endangered the ravine. A young orc messenger from Drygulch Ravine went to Orgrimmar and reported the news to Warchief Thrall.[1] In addition to the orcs living here, there is also a river that feeds the ravine.[2]
The ravine is now home to the Dustwind harpies. They have taken to banditry, stealing supplies from caravans and hoarding them on their high cliffs.[3][4] Here the harpies nest, and the most powerful of them guard their eggs.
In the RPG[]
Drygulch Ravine is an area consisting of canyons walled by rocky cliffs. It is completely infested by the Dustwind tribe of harpies.[5] Centaur warbands also have control of this canyon in western Durotar. The violent creatures use the many twists and folds within the canyon to hide from Horde patrols in between their periodic raids.[6]
