The Dunemaul clan[1] is a large clan (also referred to as a band[2] or tribe)[3] of nomadic ogres who have taken over a large area of Tanaris and formed a compound to the south. The leader of this clan was Gor'marok the Ravager but was replaced by Sandscraper at some point. The Dunemaul clan eats the bits of the Centipaar silithid.[3][4]
Following the Cataclysm the Dunemaul clan was brought into the Horde by Megs Dreadshredder and the Dunemaul "Emissary", who are stationed at the Dunemaul Recruitment Camp, through means of force and threats. After they were "recruited", Megs has them caged up and sent to other locations to work for the Horde, leaving only sand where they once were.[1]
During the Burning Legion's invasion, their compound was assaulted. All remaining residents were enslaved by nathrezim. Some of them could be rescued by the adventurers.

In the RPG[]
The Dunemaul ogres and Sandfury trolls control the only natural wells in the region. They are bronze-skinned.[5]
Notes[]
- The Gordunni ogres say that they are a lot cleaner than the ogres in Tanaris which is covered in ogre poo.[6]
- For game purposes, the ogres remain in the area and still hostile towards the Horde.

According to 
[49] The Dunemaul Compound, the clan arrived to Tanaris "recently", so they probably did so between the events of the Third War and World of Warcraft rather than after the Second War.
