  Attaching the belt buckle causes the item to become soulbound.  Cannot be used on items level 375 or higher.

Notes

The socket added is a prismatic socket. If the belt already has sockets, the new socket will appear below them, and leaving it empty won't suppress the socket bonus. The buckle won't add a socket bonus.

This is the only type of enhancement that can be applied to a belt, unless the wearer is an engineer.

For belts below item level 300, a cheaper  [Eternal Belt Buckle] can be used instead.

While the tooltip says the maximum item level is 375, it can be applied to any Cataclysm equipment.
