Eche'ro was a powerful white moose favored by the stag Ancient, Malorne. During a battle in Azshara during the War of the Ancients, Eche'ro was gravely wounded by demons but was rescued by the tauren hero, Huln Highmountain.[1] Because of this, the demigod Cenarius gave Huln his blessing, transforming the tauren's horns into the antler-like Horns of Eche'ro.[2] Ever since that day, the moose accompanied Huln as pet, mount, and battle companion.[3]
After Eche'ro's death, his bones were scattered across the region of Highmountain. Lessah Moonwater, eager to preserve the legacy of Huln, sends enterprising archaeologists to gather the moose's bone fragments and return them to Thunder Totem. Adventurers who are successful in this task are then able to call upon Eche'ro's spirit to carry them into battle.[4]
