Efrem the Faithful is a level 80 human at the Savage Ledge in Icecrown. He left the Scarlet Onslaught to become a champion of the Lich King. Players are asked to defeat him for the quest 
[25-30] Eliminate the Competition. Before he can be killed, he surrenders to the adventurer and promises to leave. He has not been seen since.
Abilities[]
Crusader Strike — Inflicts 60% weapon damage to an enemy and increases the Holy damage it takesper application of Crusader Strike. Can be applied up to 5 times. Lasts 15 sec.- Devotion Aura — Gives additional armor to nearby party members for 4 min. Players may only have one aura on them per paladin at any one time.
- Hammer of Justice — Stuns an enemy, rendering it unable to move or attack for 5 sec.
- Lay on Hands — Heals an ally for an amount equal to the caster's maximum health

- Probably based off of Ephrem the Syrian. Efrem is part of the Scarlet Onslaught and is thus assumed to be religious, and Ephrem the Syrian is a Saint and also a Doctor of the Church in (Roman) Catholicism.
