Elite has several means in World of Warcraft:
- Elite creature: A tougher type of creature than normal.
- Elite mode: A tougher version of a raid encounter, informally and previously called "Hard mode". Not to be confused with Heroic mode, which is comparatively harder (Normal < Elite < Heroic < Heroic Elite)
- Elite areas: Uninstanced areas on the open world that (until Patch 2.3) were filled with elite creatures. Also called micro dungeons.
- Elite quest, now called a "Group quest".
