Ellaene was a night elf Sentinel, the wife of Elyrion Fogsong, and the mother of Arietta. According to Elyrion, she was "Funny and quick and sweeter than honey to those she loved". Both Ellaene and Arietta were killed in a battle. Elyrion blamed himself for their deaths since he failed to supply the battle with healing potions, and subsequently isolated himself to become a hermit.[1]
