Elven Destroyers are powerful warships from the fleets of Quel'thalas. Crewed with highly-skilled Elven seafarers, these swift-sailing vessels are prepared to engage the enemy wherever they may be found. Elven Destroyers constitute a critical part of the Alliance naval defense force as they can unleash their firepower upon dreaded aerial forces of the Horde.

Information

• Destroyers are light warships designed primarily for escort duty, patrols and hit-and-run attacks. They are the only ships that can engage targets on land, sea and air.
• Their main uses are to intercept enemy Transports and protect your own, and to defend against Dragons. If supported by a Flying Machine, they are also useful for hunting down enemy Giant Turtles.
• They can be used to bombard the enemy shoreline, but their short range and relatively weak cannons mean they will not fare well against any serious opposition, such as Towers or Catapults.
• They should avoid direct confrontations with enemy Juggernaughts; while their speed can allow them to delay the Juggernaughts for a while, their firepower is simply no match - expect to lose around 4 Destroyers for each Juggernaught.
