Did you hear that I have been given command of the guard for the Ember Court? That would probably be more impressive if there were already recruits.
I need to get these recruiting posters up. If you can take care of that, I can meet the interested recruits here and then we can test their combat skills when you return.

Hmmm. I am sure I can get some volunteers arranged for the Ember Court.
The Houses are all spoiling for a fight ... with each other. Only a commander they fear will be able to prevent them attacking each other and might beat some respect into them. You sort out someone suitable for that.
Of course, I will need you to take care of a few things for me so I can focus on your problem. That is only fair and reasonable.
