Enveloping Mist is a Mistweaver monk ability. It is a cast that does not do direct healing, but instead applies a heal over time effect.

Notes

• Ticks affected by haste.
• [Rapid Diffusion] allows it to create short applications of [Renewing Mist].
• Enveloping Mist has strong interactions with the mistweaver celestials. [Invoke Chi-Ji, the Red Crane] and [Invoke Yu'lon, the Jade Serpent] both make this ability cheaper. Chi-Ji in particular allows it to become instant cast, allowing Enveloping Mist to be weaved in between other melee abilities.
• Additionally with the [Celestial Harmony] talent, when the celestial is active, the ability is upgraded to also provide an additional AOE effect, on top of its usual effect to the main target.
• [Soothing Mist] enables this spell to become instant cast, if it is also targeted at the channeling target of Soothing Mist.

Tips

• Try casting it on the tank before they start a pull, as the HoT effect will persist after combat starts.
• The healing amp is a useful part of this spell, during heavy damage.
