Extinguishing the Cataclysm is an achievement awarded for extinguishing the opposing side's bonfires. Completing this achievement is an objective of the meta achievement 
[Desecration of the Horde].
In the Alliance version, the character must complete 
[1-70] Desecrate this Fire! for each of the Horde bonfires in the zones opened by the Cataclysm.
