Fairbreeze Village is a blood elf village in southern Eversong Woods just west of the Dead Scar and close to the Sunsail Anchorage. Fairbreeze is the place where many young adventurers learn their trades, before venturing forth into Ghostlands and Tranquillien.

History[]

When the Scourge attacked Quel'Thalas during the Third War, Sylvanas Windrunner and her rangers retreated to the village and defended it for a brief time.^[1]

It was previously established that Sylvanas died and was raised by Arthas Menethil in a nearby spire between Silvermoon and the Elrendar.^[1] It was later stated that the spire was the Windrunner Spire in Ghostlands.^[2] However, World of Warcraft: Chronicle Volume 3 later reinforced Rise of the Lich King and the in-game depiction of Sylvanas' death showed her fighting just east of this village.
During the Heritage of the Sin'dorei questline, the village shows a lot of high elven corpses.
