The Fall of Shattrath was a major battle in the war in Draenor. Some time after the Iron Horde was repelled from the city, the anti-Iron Horde forces have held the city, until a rebellion orchestrated by the Shadow Council. The eredar, Socrethar has taken control of the city and prepared to consolidate his hold on it, but was defeated by the combined Sunsworn and Council of Exarchs forces, allowing them to reclaim most of the city, excluding the section behind the barrier.
