Overview
Fear Ward is a spell unique to Dwarf and Draenei Priests. This spell renders the target immune to one 
[Fear] effect. The buff lasts 10 minutes, has a 30 second cooldown to recast, and is considered a magic effect. The buff is consumed even if the character is already immune to fear. (ie. Warrior in Beserker Stance)
It costs 100 mana to cast and is attainable at level 20. It does not work on horror effects (such as 
[Death Coil]).
Notes
- This spell has traditionally caused a lot contentions between Alliance and Horde community due to the fact that it is not available to horde. Nevertheless, dwarf and draenei are often the race of choice for hardcore Alliance priests.
- This buff can be dispelled by priests, shamans, and warlocks with felhunters. It can be stolen by a mage using
[Spellsteal]. - Due to the fact it is instant cast, the priest can learn to time it against an enemy fear to lessen the chance that it is dispelled. Warlock's
[Fear] has cast time, priest's [Psychic Scream] has a radius of only 8 yards.
