Fel lords are a type of large and powerful mo'arg demons in service of the Burning Legion. Towering over their lesser minions, they often wield massive, yet slow weapons.^[1] Speculated by some scholars of the Legion to be an evolved version of the common felguard, fel lords serve as enforcers in the direct service of Archimonde. Their cruelty is matched only by their brute force.^[2]

Fel lords seem to serve as mascots for World of Warcraft: Legion, appearing on the loading screen, as well as bosses in almost every dungeon and raid that features the Burning Legion, including Hellfire Citadel, which foreshadowed the expansion.
There are several fel lord houndmasters, including Hakkar, Huk'roth and Kerrax.
Some fel lords on Argus such as Imonar the Soulhunter and Talgathi Huntmasters wear different gear and have a slightly different face. Many demons have "Argus" variations, but the facial differences are unusual.
