Fated Raids are increased difficulty of the Shadowlands raids during Shadowlands Season 4, with a selected raid being fated for a week until the next daily reset. It will run up to the release of Dragonflight on 26 November 2022.
Rotation[]
To find out when a raid is fated during that week, refer to the Calendar for the world event which starts each Tuesday or refer to the icon in the Adventure Guide's Shadowlands raids section or the Raid Finder dropdown menu.
Fated Raids follow a weekly rotation:[1]
- August 2 – Castle Nathria
- August 9 – Sanctum of Domination
- August 16 – Sepulcher of the First Ones
- August 23 – Castle Nathria
- August 30 – Sanctum of Domination
- September 6 – Sepulcher of the First Ones
- Etc.
This rotation continued until the release of patch 10.0.0 on October 25, at which point all raids became Fated simultaneously.
Players in a Fated raid or a Fated world boss encounter will have the following buff:
- Fated Raid — You are in a Fated Raid. Enemies have increased power.
World bosses[]
Additionally, depending on which raid is fated, the corresponding world bosses will also be fated.
- Castle Nathria
- Sanctum of Domination
- Sepulcher of the First Ones
Fated Powers[]
Similar to Mythic+ affixes, a Fated Power will be applied to every boss in the Fated raid of that week.
- [Fated Power: Chaotic Essence]
- [Fated Power: Creation Spark]
- [Fated Power: Protoform Barrier]
- [Fated Power: Reconfiguration Emitter]
Item levels[]
With increased difficulty, also means increased item level.
Difficulty | Fated Raids |
---|---|
World boss | 285 |
Raid Finder | 265/272 |
Normal | 278/285 |
Heroic | 291/297 |
Mythic | 304/311 |
Raid vendors[]
These raid vendors offer loot tables from their respective raids for a [Puzzling Cartel Dinar]. The loot unlocks as you defeat the raid bosses in the dungeon, and the item level depends on the highest difficulty the raid boss was defeated on.
They are available after completing the first quest for the coin, [60R] Crossing Fate.
