Duke Lionheart was a paladin of the Knights of the Silver Hand who accompanied the Human Expedition to Kalimdor during the Third War. Following Mannoroth's death, Jaina Proudmoore and Thrall put Lionheart in charge of a joint orc and human base in Ashenvale in order to hunt the remaining demons. Lionheart upheld orderly conduct between the humans and orcs, who often argued with each other. He didn't seem to mind working with the orcs, unlike some of his men. Tyrande Whisperwind and the Sentinels watched them from the nearby woods and eventually killed the paladin as punishment for intruding on the forest.[1]
