Guild Challenge completion credit for guild groups in dungeons and raids are now only awarded when completing current-expansion content.
To offset this change, Guild Challenge completion credit no longer requires Dungeon Finder to queue for the dungeon. This means guild groups can now complete Mythic dungeons for Guild Challenge credit. Additionally, the gold awarded for all Guild Challenges has been increased by roughly 50%.
Please note, the following Shipyard changes are still in testing.
Naval Missions
Rare naval missions should now appear more frequently.
Increasing the chance of success on a naval mission will now also decrease the chance a ship will be destroyed on failure. If the mission success chance is at or above 90%, no ships will be lost on the mission.
Naval blockade missions now have a shorter duration of 30 minutes (down from 4 hours), reduced [Oil] cost to 50 (down from 100), and increased the amount of time before a naval blockade returns to 7 days (up from 5 days).
Ships and Crews
Increased success chance bonus on missions provided by a Human Crew by 50%.
Increased success chance bonus on missions provided by a Pandaren Crew by 33% and the bonus will now apply to Missions that are 12 hours or longer (was 18 hours or longer).
Significantly increased the effectiveness and bonuses provided by Naval Equipment items by 100%.
[Hotfix in testing] Gorebound Spirit will no longer immediately use Raging Charge when emerging from Gorefiend’s stomach. Raging Charge’s damage is now properly reduced on Raid Finder and Normal difficulty.
Weakened Soul effect from [Power Word: Shield] now has an 11-second duration while in PvP combat (down from 15 seconds). The perk, [Enhanced Power Word: Shield] (Discipline, Shadow) will continue to reduce the duration of Weakened Soul by an additional 3 seconds.

[Saving Grace] (Discipline, Holy) is now 25% less effective while in PvP combat (down from being 33% less effective).

We have made a number of changes aimed at reducing the difficulty of the Archimonde encounter for smaller raid groups on Normal and Heroic difficulty, with a focus on the final phase of the encounter in particular. These changes are offset by increased scaling with respect to raid size, so that the experience for larger raid groups will be mostly unchanged.
Living Shadow's health has been reduced by up to 15%.
Reduced the damage of Wrought Chaos by up to 20%.
Reduced the damage of Shackled Torment by up to 20%.
Living Shadows now spawn from each Nether Tear at a reduced rate for smaller raid sizes.

Naval Missions
An Expert Captain threat can now be fully countered by 2 Pandaren Crews or 2 assist ship equipment (Ammo Reserves, Automated Sky Scanner, Extra Quarters, Noisemaker Mines, and Sonic Amplification Field).
Health of adds for the encounter have been reduced by roughly 20% for raid groups with 10 players on Normal and Heroic difficulty. This should help with the difficulty experienced by smaller raid groups losing their DPS when sending players down into the death phase. The health of adds scales back up and should be roughly unchanged from before as raid group size increases.
Players who die to Digest or from fatal damage while in the stomach phase in the Gorefiend encounter should now be able to be resurrected once their bodies are teleported back outside.
[Naval Mechanics]: The achievement no longer requires players to obtain equipment blueprints that are not obtainable. Fixed an additional issue where players were not receiving credit for obtaining a blueprint for [Blast Furnace].

Conquest vendors now sell non-set PvP armor pieces that could be found in the Champion’s Strongbox.
Removed the Ashran-only 200 Conquest Point bonus to the weekly Conquest cap. Total Conquest cap remains unchanged, but characters no longer need to go to Ashran to earn all of it.

Upgrading to a Level 3 Shipyard now unlocks an additional Fleet Command Table at the player's Garrison town hall.
The Ashmaul Strongbox that drops upon defeating Grand Marshal Tremblade or High Warlord Volrath is now rare (blue) quality to avoid confusion as to the qualify of its contents. There's been no change to the contents of the strongbox itself.
The progressive buff implemented from June 25 now also counts defeating Grand Marshal Tremblade or High Warlord Volrath as winning an event.
Grand Marshal Tremblade and High Warlord Volrath now only awards an Ashmaul Strongbox if they're defeated while their base is under attack.

Increased the number of set pieces that drop from set bosses in Hellfire Citadel on Normal and Heroic difficulty. This affects both personal loot and group loot.
Doubled the chance of an item being Warforged in Timewalking dungeons with an item level increase from 660 to 675.
Increase the chance of getting an item when using a Seal of Tempered Fate.

Decreased the maximum number of players on each faction to 40. To compensate for this change, we've also increased the number of Ashran instances.
[Requires a realm restart] If a faction repeatedly loses at an Ashran event, they will now receive an invisible progressive buff that increases their damage, healing, and damage absorption by 5% per stack. This effect can stack up to 10 times. A stack of the buff will be removed each time the losing faction wins an event.
Fixed an issue that could cause players that had just left Gorefiend's stomach to incorrectly be sent back in.
Monks with an active [Zen Sphere] while affected by Shadow of Death should no longer be getting stuck before being transported into or out of Gorefiend's stomach.
[I'm a Soul Man]: Fixed an issue that caused the achievement to be incorrectly awarded.

We've made a number of adjustments to Tier-18 set bonuses based on feedback and data from raid testing on Public Test Realms (PTR). General
The health and damage scaling of aspects of several encounters on Normal and Heroic difficulties have been adjusted to make them less punishing for smaller raid groups, to account for reduced availability of external cooldowns and the larger relative portion of the group that must deal with certain mechanics. Overall, these changes should make the encounters easier for groups with closer to 10 raiders, while having little noticeable effect for groups with closer to 30 players.
Kromog
Stone Breath now deals up to 20% less damage on Normal and Heroic difficulties.
The Blast Furnace
Foreman Feldspar, Security Guards, Bellows Operators, Firecallers, and Engineers now have up to 15% less health on Normal and Heroic difficulties.
Blackhand’s Marked for Death ability should no longer have a preference to target players that are already stunned during Stage Two.
PvP
Conquest Catch-Up Cap Changes
Conquest catch-up cap received a change to how it’s calculated that should result in a roughly 50% increase to the catch-up portion of the cap.
The formula used to calculate a player’s catch-up cap is now: <Number of weeks passed in the season> × 1500 – <Total amount of Conquest earned this season>

Furnace Engineers should now throw a bomb at players roughly every 6 seconds. Throw Bomb is now instant-cast, but the range is now 40 yards (down from 50 yards). These changes are intended to diminish the relative benefit of having two or more priests, compared to one or none: [Mind Control] allows for more controlled targeting of the Bombs, but does not speed up the phase as a whole.
Blackhand's health has been reduced by 5% on Mythic difficulty.
Blackhand's Massive Shattering Smash ability now deals 25% less damage on Mythic difficulty.

In response to player feedback, we've reverted a hotfix from March 11 where players dealt 10% less damage against other players while in PvP combat.

Level 95 Mission: Shreddercide, Level 97 Mission: Curiosity Killed Them, and Level 99 Mission: Raider Danger now awards Bonus Follower XP instead of Garrison Resources.
Completing Patrol Missions should now correctly contribute credit towards completing the "Patrolling Draenor" achievement.

Legendary Ring Quest Line

[Flask of Conquest]'s effects should now correctly persist through death and be usable while in Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds.
Fixed an issue that caused players to stand up while eating or drinking during the preparation phase before the start of an Arena or Rated Battleground match.
Trade Goods and Consumables should now be correctly deposited to bags assigned to favor those item types.

Additionally, Tiger Strikes should now correctly provide the full 10% chance to trigger for Mistweavers in Crane Stance while equipping one-handed items in conjunction with off-hand items. [Keg Smash] (Brewmaster) now deals 20% less damage.
[Rising Sun Kick] (Windwalker, Mistweaver) now causes enemies to take 20% increased damage from the Monk's abilities (up from 10%).
The tooltip for Tiger Strikes is incorrectly stating that the chance for it to activate is 6.25% while dual-wielding. The actual chance is 5% (and has been since Warlords of Draenor released). The tooltip will be corrected in a future patch.

Fixed an issue with [Chi Torpedo] that caused it to deal no damage unless the Glyph of Water Roll was applied.

Adds in the encounter should now be more immediately responsive to threat generation upon jumping into the encounter space.
Furnace Engineer's Repair ability now heals Heat Regulators' health every 1.5 seconds (up from every 1 second). Additionally, Furnace *****Engineers should no longer instantly cast Repair if they're in the middle of casting Electrocution or Bomb.
Phase 2
Firecaller's Volatile Fire now hits up to a maximum of 2 targets on Raid Finder difficulty, and 3 targets on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
Beastlord Darmac's Pin Down ability should now deal damage in a radius of 25 yards around the spear impacts rather than around Darmac. Additionally, visuals for the attack should no longer be sometimes hidden by the floor.
Visuals for Spirit of the Rylak's Superheated Shrapnel and Dreadwing's Inferno Breath should now more accurately display the abilities' area of effect.
[Gleaming Ashmaul Strongbox] no longer contains Primal Aspirant's gear (item level 600). Gleaming Ashmaul Strongbox now contains only Primal Combatant's gear (item level 620) with a small chance for Primal Gladiator's gear (item level 660) and [Flask of Conquest].

Blackhand's health has been reduced by 5% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.

Gronnling Laborer's Gronnling Smash ability now deals less damage.
Reduced the damage that Gruul’s Inferno Slice deals to 10-player raid groups on Normal and Heroic difficulties, but increased the rate at which damage scales with raid size. Larger raid groups should find the damage relatively unchanged; smaller groups will find that the ability now deals less damage.
[Requires a realm restart] Beginning with the new raid timer, Blackhand will consistently drop universal set tokens at the same consistent rates as other bosses in Blackrock Foundry.
If the Siegemaker's Fixated target dies, it should now Fixate on the closest target.

Flag captures in both normal and Rated Eye of the Storm match should now be correctly registering on the scoreboard and grant credit towards achievements that have to do with capturing a flag.
Flipping control of Draenei Ruins in a Rated Eye of the Storm match should now immediately teleport players waiting to be resurrected to the next available graveyard.
Resolved an issue in a Rated Eye of the Storm match that could cause a capture point to not flip correctly and be unable to be captured.

Inscription-crafted Warlords trinkets should no longer be able to be upgraded using crystals meant for upgrading Inscription-crafted weapons as this could cause the trinket to end up in a broken state.
[Goren Disguise] can no longer be used while in a Challenge Mode Dungeon.
Tier 3 Garrisons: Dungeoneer's Training Dummy for healing and damage have swapped places so melee classes are less likely to trigger the tanking dummy by accident.

[20-40] At Your Command: Horde characters who have faction changed to Alliance should now be able to complete the quest "At Your Command" if they have completed the Horde version previously.
Grom'tash the Destructor and Gul'kosh should no longer force all party members into combat, including ones that aren't actively in combat with them.

Ner'zhul: Resolved an issue where players may be unable to use the portal to re-enter the encounter area.

Hotfix to change the PvP 4-piece set bonus for Retribution Paladins announced from January 5 has been deployed.

[Requires a realm restart] [40] The Giant Cauldron: Players should now be able to reacquire or complete the quest if they disconnect or log out during the flight after speaking with Choluna.

Kargath Bladefist: Defeating Iron Grunts before the start of the encounter no longer grants favor with Roar of the Crowd on Mythic difficulty.
The Butcher: Pale Vitriol should now correctly be reapplied to Hunters under the effects of [Deterrence] on Mythic difficulty.

Ashran
Bonus Objectives in Ashran now restart every 30-40 minutes after completion (up from 20-30 minutes).
Battlegrounds and Arenas
Capturing a point in Arathi Basin, The Battle for Gilneas City, and the Rated Battlegrounds version for Eye of the Storm should now take 7 seconds (down from 8 seconds). This change restores time to capture a point back to what it was for these Battlegrounds in pre-6.0.2.
[Require a realm restart] Spawn rates for Direfang Alpha, Ironhide Bull, and Wetland Trampler has increased slightly.

[Wild Growth]'s healing should now smoothly increase with Haste instead of having breakpoints. Total healing for the ability will vary slightly depending how much Haste the Druid had previously; with healing increasing slightly for most Druids.
Armor Sets
PvP 2-piece set bonus for Restoration Druids should no longer incorrectly consume [Nature's Swiftness] when the root effect is triggered.
Hunter

Resolved a situation that could cause [Binding Shot] to not stun the target correctly.
Monk
General
[Way of the Monk] now increases the Monk's autoattack damage with one-handed weapons by 25% (down from 40%), and increases the attack speed of two-handed weapons by 55% (up from 40%).
Priest
Talents
[Clarity of Will]'s (Discipline) damage absorption shield can now stack up to a maximum of 75% of the casting Priest's health (instead of up to 50% of the target's health).
[Hand of Protection] should now interrupt players that are in the process of capturing a point in the Battlegrounds.

WoW's 10th Anniversary event has received an extension! The event will begin again at 10AM PST on Tuesday, January 6 and ends at 10AM PST on Tuesday, January 13.
[Conversion] now costs 15 Runic Power per second for Frost Death Knights (up from 10 Runic Power).

PvP 2-piece set bonus for Hunters should no longer incorrectly trigger its effect when [Freezing Trap] activates on a target that is immune.

[Currently in testing] PvP 4-piece set bonus for Retribution Paladins now increases damage and healing by 2% per Holy Power spent (down from 3%) for 4 seconds (down from 8 seconds).
