Patch changes[]

  • Dragonflight Hotfix (2023-02-17): Fixed an issue with Curse of Weakness stacking inappropriately with other similar effects.
  • Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Redesigned as a baseline ability at level 6 (was a PvP talent). Now increases the time between an enemy's attacks by 20% for 2 minutes.
    Old: Reduces the target's attack power by 30% for 10 sec.
  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.1.0 (2018-12-11): Curse of Weakness now reduces attack power (was physical damage), and its effect is increased to 30% (was 25%).
  • Battle for Azeroth Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Converted from a rank 19 honor talent to a PvP talent.
  • Legion Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Re-added as a rank 19 honor talent (was a level 16 ability). Now reduces Physical damage done by 25% (up from 10%) but lasts for 10 seconds (down from 2 minutes).
  • Mists of Pandaria Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Removed.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Redesigned as a level 16 ability (was level 4). Reduces physical damage done by 10%.
