First Mate Moody is a human located on the Llane's Oath in Deepholm. He is the first mate of the gunship and the sole survivor. He had slept through supper, where the Twilight cultists that had infiltrated the ship poisoned the food, and woke up with the rest of the crew already dead. He then ended up with a gut wound that he's currently dying from, as 'his insides are not where they should be'.

Choosing to take action, he grabbed the wheel and is piloting the ship to keep it from crashing. When Stormcaller Mylra of the Earthen Ring and her adventurer assistant finds him, he tells them that he is dying and requires a [Spool of Rope] and a [Bottle of Whiskey]. Bringing him the two items, he has the adventurer assist him in tying himself to the wheel and the whiskey to drink to help numb his pain. His whereabouts are unknown as he is not rescued by Mylra.
