Fishing Locations
The following charts contain lists of commonly caught fish in the waters of each zone. For information on where specific pools of fish spawn use the Fishing pool pages. Information regarding the catch areas of individual types of fish can be found on that fish's page in the source section.
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): removed the "Your Fish got Away" error. Players will now catch vendor trash items instead of fish.
- Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): removed the minimum skill requirement. Players skill level now determines the likelihood of catching fish instead of vendor trash.
These tables can be sorted easily by zone name or skill level. The 100% catch skill level is the skill level at which every catch in open water is likely to result in a fish catch and the likelihood of catching vendor trash is nearly nil. Fishing from Pools is always a 100% fish catch, and Fishing from open Lava is nearly always 100% vendor trash.
