- During development, the pet this item teaches was called Soulshape Squirrel. It was a beast pet with the abilities [Blinkstrike], [Uncanny Luck], [Pounce], [Bite], [Prowl], and [Fade].
- Floofa is based on Choofa, a soulshape who takes the form of a squirrel. Unlike Choofa, Floofa doesn't speak, and instead sounds like a normal squirrel.
