Focus Magic is a Mage spell obtained by investing points in the Arcane tree. It was introduced in Patch 3.0.2.

This is the single raid buff the Arcane tree gives to the Mage, and while it may seem weak in comparison to the other trees' [Improved Scorch] and Winter's Chill, it has merit in that it stacks with every single other raid buff and makes the Arcane Mage a more desirable choice than a Mage of another specialization when either of those buffs are already present in a raid (given equal skill/gear/spec dedication).
