For the Ward! is a quest achievement earned for using the fixed-device perimeter wards surrounding the Dawnseeker Promontory or Violet Rise (once they have been phased in) to kill a weakened enemy.
Find a nearby troll or mogu and weaken it to where it has less than 10% health. The Zandalari Beastcallers flying overhead work well for this. Drag the target mob near to a perimeter ward and it will activate automatically. Try to make sure no friendly guards are nearby, as the ward itself must land the killing blow.
This achievement is required for the meta-achievement,
