Forlorn Woods.
The Forlorn Woods cover the western half of Crystalsong Forest. The woods are bordered by Icecrown and Storm Peaks to the north, the Unbound Thicket to the east, Dragonblight to the south, the Azure Front, the Violet Stand and the Great Tree to the southwest, and the Decrepit Flow to the northwest. The woods are bisected by the Twilight Rivulet running from the Decrepit Flow to the Mirror of Twilight and Dalaran floats high above.
It is a place that looks perpetually in autumn, yellow and red-brown and dotted with lonely elf ruins. According to Muradin Bronzebeard, it is the safest place in the region that isn't someone's outpost to bide the night or to stop for a meal.[1]
