As the military and economic center of the largest Orc cities, the Fortress can hold and process all the gold and lumber that the Peons can be made to harvest. Protected by obsidian spires shaped from the earth itself, the Fortress is all but impervious to the attacks of the feeble Human forces. Constructed by Orcish leaders attaining arrant mastery both on and off the field of battle, the Fortress serves as a proclamation to the Alliance of the inevitable triumph of the Orcish Horde.[1]
Information[]
- A Fortress is an upgraded Stronghold. It allows you to build Altars of Storms, Temples of the Damned and Dragon Roosts and has 200 extra HP.
- It also makes your gold mining more efficient: whenever a Peon delivers gold, 120 gold will be added to your stockpile instead of 100. This does not stack with the bonus for having a Stronghold. Note that merely having at least one Fortress is enough - you will get the bonus gold even if the peasant delivers it to a Great Hall or Stronghold somewhere else on the map.
