Forums: Village pump → Approach to updated NPCs appearances
The prepatch updated a bunch of NPCs in Stormwind and Orgrimmar and changed the eyes of female high elf to violet.
- Glancing at some old goblin and (pre-2.0) elf pages, the images seem to be separated. Should the cases like Kathrum Axehand, where he now looks like completely different, follow the same pattern? This would mean having two pictures of Kathrum, his Shadowlands and pre-Shadowlands look (here, Deluded's idea for the two images in infobox come in handy, or just regularly put the old file to Gallery section). Or do we want to upload new appearance over the existing file?
- What about NPCs that have only a small detail changed, like the high elves having violet eyes? (tbh, this seems kinda sus to me, and I wonder if it is just a bug?)
Personally, I would go with two files for big changes, and upload a new file over existing one with small changes. Thoughts? --
