Forums: Village pump → HeyTots - Legit Gift Card or Hoax?
So I received a message on my profile page from User:HeyTots to check my e-mail, where I discovered that the person wants to give me a gift card for my contributions to the site. However my dad has fallen victim to gift card scams, which have started out that way in wanting to thank him for aid. Thus I feel rather warry at starting the process. So I just wondering if any fellow wowpedia editors have received the e-mail and gotten the gift card by following the steps involved. If so, I would appreciate the confirmation that it's safe to proceed or if it's an e-mail I should ignore.
