Frank Pearce

Frank Pearce is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer, and is one of the co-founders of Blizzard Entertainment.

Pearce initially worked as a programmer and receptionist at Blizzard, working on various ports. He did some work on Warcraft: Orcs and Humans, but most of his efforts at this time were directed to Blackthorne and Justice League Task Force. He later worked on Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness; as of 2001, Pearce cited Warcraft II as his favorite game. He later led the Warcraft III development team.[1] He was the Executive Producer of The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Mists of Pandaria.

On July 19, 2019, it was announced that Pearce was leaving the company after 28 years.[2]


Pearce is listed on the crew of South Park's "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episode.
