Frostburn is the mastery for Frost mages. It is a unique gameplay mechanic for frost mages that increases the damage done against frozen targets as well as increased the damage done by the mage's Water Elemental.

• Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10): Replaced by [Mastery: Icicles].
  
• Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26): Now only grants 2 base points of mastery, down from 8.
